What is a Dispatch Strategy?
Updated over a week ago

A dispatch strategy is the magic of Nash! It's a set of features you can attach to a delivery that controls which providers you prefer to complete your deliveries and how your deliveries get sent to a provider.

Based on your business goals, you can configure your strategy using the following settings:

  • Maximum Delivery Fee: Set the highest cost you’re willing to pay for each delivery

  • Auto Dispatch - Lowest Price: Automatically selects the provider with the lowest cost.

  • Auto Dispatch - Most Reliable: Automatically selects the provider with the highest reliability score overall.

  • Auto Dispatch - Ranked: You adjust the list of providers in the strategy and Nash will automatically dispatch and reassign in that order.

  • Auto-Reassign: If your order isn’t assigned to a driver quickly enough, or if the initial provider fails to deliver, the delivery will automatically reassign to another provider

    • Auto-Reassign on pickup: define the amount of time since pickup time or until pickup time for Nash to reassign to another provider.
