Why is my order stuck in “Created” status and how do I get it assigned?

A job in "created" status has not been forwarded to a provider If you notice that a job is stuck in "created" status, this could mean that a Dispatch Strategy with auto-dispatch activated was not attached to the job before being submitted to Nash!

To get your order moving, please manually dispatch a provider to your job.

  • Note: after a job is submitted, a dispatch strategy cannot be added. If you would like to use features in your Dispatch Strategy, like auto-reassignment, rather than manually dispatch the job stuck in "created", you must duplicate the job and resubmit with an attached Dispatch Strategy.

For the long-term, if you would like jobs forwarded to providers automatically, make sure your Dispatch Strategy has "auto-dispatch" turned on and your Dispatch Strategy is being attached to jobs before submission.

If you do not have access to your Dispatch Strategies, this may not apply to you the same way and you may require a different solution long-term. Please reach out to the owner of your account or Nash Support for further assistance.

Another reason a job is likely to be stuck in created status and not get assigned a provider is because the job failed to satisfy provider requirements.

To check this, click on Unavailable Providers under Quotes. Once you see any provider with failed attached to them, you can hover over the Failed to see the failure reason.

Common Failure Reasons

  1. Provider is ineligible because of Delivery Radius: Uber may have a maximum delivery radius of 20 miles, if your job is beyond 20 miles this will cause Uber to fail.

  2. SLA requirement: Roadie SLA requires a minimum of 2 hours between pick up/drop off, which means the period (time span) between your pick up and drop off should not be less than 2 hours.

  3. The provider is not present in a particular Dispatch Strategy: You may have multiple Dispatch Strategies, as a result, you are likely to see some providers pop up with failed, this is because they are present in a different Dispatch Strategy other than the one you chose for a particular job.
