Waiting Time Explained
Waiting Time Explained
Updated over a week ago

At pickup and delivery, you have a few minutes to exchange parcels with your driver. If it takes longer, a fee will be charged. This fee helps to compensate for the driver's efforts and time spent waiting.

These situations often lead to waiting time fees:

  • Packages not ready for pickup

  • Drivers waiting for access to a building

  • Loading or unloading heavy or large items

To avoid extra charges:

  • Check your ETA to know when the driver will arrive.

  • Prepare and label your parcels ahead of time.

  • If your building requires access, add the access instructions to the pick-up or drop-off instructions section provided in the portal or inform the receptionist about the parcel so the courier can get in.

  • Double-check your address and provide the correct contact info.
