Create & schedule orders
Last updated: August 16, 2026
There are two ways to get an order into Nash: build it by hand, or bring in a batch at once. Both start from the + Create button in the sidebar. This article covers where to start and what to expect; the deeper how-tos are linked along the way.
Two ways to create an order
For a single order, choose + Create → Order to open the order form — see create an order manually.
To bring in many orders at once, choose + Create → CSV Upload instead — see import orders by CSV.
What you fill in
The order form is organized into Pickup, Dropoff, and Delivery Details. Pickup and Dropoff hold the addresses and contacts for where the order is coming from and going to. Delivery Details holds what's in the order — including choosing whether it goes out Now or is Scheduled for a later window. This article keeps things high-level; the deep how-to walks through every field.
Create then work it
Once you submit the form, the order lands in your Orders list — see find & work orders. Creating an order doesn't dispatch it: the order sits ready for you to review and send out as a separate step.
Building an integration?
Orders can also be created programmatically. See the Nash API reference to create orders from your own systems.
