Setting Up Driver Pay

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Driver pay is an optional feature that gives you the ability to automatically calculate the cost of a route to your operation. When a route is created, Nash will calculate the cost based on the details of the route and display this cost in the Deliveries tab.

A single Driver Pay Rule can be applied to multiple Driver Groups, but a Driver Group can only be assigned one Driver Pay Rule.

Setting Up Driver Pay Rules

Go to Fleet > Driver Pay

Click +New Payment Rule

Name the Rule and select the driver groups to apply the payment rule to

Select Pricing Type: Contract

If you need a more sophisticated payment rule setup that isn't covered in Contract type, let us know. We will need to build it for you using Function type.

Set the parameters of the payment rule by selecting one or more Contract types.

If more than one contract type is selected, make sure to select how the values need to be combined.

Reach out to your Nash Contact if you have any questions on how to properly setup the Payment Contracts.
