Resolve orders
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Needs Attention is the first tab on the Orders page, with a live count next to it. It collects orders that can't move forward until something about them is fixed.
Why an order lands here
An order shows up in Needs Attention because it failed a validation check — a missing or malformed detail, like an address that couldn't be located, a required field left blank, or a delivery window that's out of order. Nash checks orders for these kinds of problems automatically.
If you import orders in bulk, newly imported orders may briefly show as pending validation while Nash finishes checking them, before settling into either Needs Attention or Ready to Dispatch.
Getting an order out of Needs Attention
There are two ways to clear an order out of this tab:
- Fix it. Open the order and correct whatever's wrong — see fix an order that needs attention. Once it passes validation, it moves to Ready to Dispatch on its own.
- Archive it. If the order isn't needed anymore, archive it instead of fixing it. Archive is the only bulk action available on this tab, so it's the quickest way to clear out several orders at once.
Spotting problems
The Needs Attention list itself doesn't show why any given order is flagged — you'll need to open an order to see what's wrong with it. See read an order for what's in the order details drawer. If your organization uses the Map view, it may flag orders with problems there too, giving you a quick visual sense of where issues are before you dig into individual orders.
