Order timeline and status
Last updated: August 16, 2026
An order's status tells you where it stands right now. Its history — how it got there — lives in two different places, and they're worth knowing apart.
Status
An order moves through a small set of statuses as it's worked: Needs Attention, Ready to Dispatch, and Dispatched. An order you've archived shows as Archived instead.
You'll see the current status in two places: the badge at the top of the order when you open it, and the tabs above the Orders list, which let you filter the list down to orders in a given status.
The Activity tab
Open an order and switch to its Activity tab for a quick look at what's happened to it. It's a timeline of the order's history — Order Created, Order Updated, and any status changes — each entry timestamped, oldest first. It's the fastest way to answer "what's happened to this order so far" without leaving the order itself.
The Order Events page
For a plainer record, open the order's actions menu and choose Events. This opens a separate Order Events page, in a new tab, listing the order's events as a table.
The Activity tab and the Order Events page are two different views of an order's history, not the same data presented two ways. The Activity tab pulls in more detail and context around each event; the Order Events page is the raw event list. Expect them to overlap on the events they cover, but don't expect an exact match between the two.
