Monitor delivery status
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Every delivery on the details page shows a status badge near the top. It's the fastest way to see where a delivery stands without reading through the full activity history.
What the badge shows
The badge reflects the delivery's current state as it moves through its lifecycle — created, sent to a provider, a driver assigned, picked up, in transit, and dropped off. Along the way it can also show an exception state, like Delayed, Returned, or Failed, or a Canceled state if the delivery was canceled by the customer, the merchant, the provider, or Nash.
Failure and exception states are called out visually — typically a red or warning-colored badge — and include a reason, so you can see at a glance not just that something went wrong, but why.
How to use it
Treat the badge as a snapshot, not a log. It reflects the delivery's current status accurately, but not the events that led up to it. For the full step-by-step history behind that status, see track delivery progress on the timeline.
