Manage driver pay

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Driver Pay is where you set how your own drivers are paid and review what they've earned. It's part of Fleet, under Driver Pay.

Note

Fleet and this page are gated. Availability varies by organization — if you don't see it, reach out to Nash.

Driver Pay covers pay administration — the rules that price a delivery and the reports that total it up. It doesn't dispatch anyone. Deciding which driver runs a live delivery or route happens in Operate; see assign and reassign deliveries and edit a route.

The two tabs

The page has two tabs:

  • Payment Rules — the priced rules that determine what a driver earns per route, per stop, or by distance, duration, or order value, plus any extra fees. The count next to the tab is how many rules you have. See create a payment rule and the full payment rule settings reference.
  • Reports — earnings totals per driver over a date range, which you can filter, adjust, and download. See driver pay reports.

What a payment rule is

A payment rule attaches to one or more Driver Groups and prices each delivery those drivers complete. A single Driver Group can belong to only one payment rule. Groups are managed separately — see manage driver groups.

Rules are asserted at pay time, so treat what a rule sets as intent: it defines how a delivery's pay is calculated, and the Reports tab shows the resulting totals.

Scoped access

Note

If your access is scoped to specific locations, Driver Pay is read-only. You can open payment rules and view reports, but the New Payment Rule button and the rule editor don't appear, and rows won't open for editing.
