Edit a route
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Once a route exists, you can change its stops and decide who runs it. From build and manage routes, click a route's Edit button to open its drawer.
Work with the stops
In the route's Stops tab you can:
- Reorder stops — use Move Up / Move Down, or drag a stop into place. Reordering recalculates the route's sequence.
- Add an order to the route with Add Order.
- Remove an order from the route.
- Move an order to another route with Move to Route.
Split a route
Use Split to break a route into a new one. There's no merge action — to combine routes, open one route and use Move to Route to move its orders into the other.
Reoptimize and recheck timing
- Reoptimize recalculates the stop order for the whole route.
- Calculate Timing recomputes the estimated arrival and departure times for each stop.
Assign who runs it
Assign a provider, vehicle, or driver to the route. For a route handled by your own fleet, you'll pick the provider, then the vehicle, then the driver.
Once a route is dispatched
After a route goes out, these editing actions are locked — you can't reorder, split, reoptimize, or reassign a dispatched route. Sending a route out is covered in dispatch a route.
