Shopify settings reference
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Every control on the Shopify settings page, for Shopify-connected organizations. For the guided setup that comes first, see set up Shopify with Nash.
The settings page opens on the General Settings tab. Each label and default below is what the page shows; the effect describes what a setting is intended to do — the actual behavior is applied by Nash and by Shopify, not verified in the page itself.
Note
This page appears only for organizations connected to Shopify. Some rows depend on how your Shopify store is set up; if you don't see one, it doesn't apply to your store. See gated settings below.
Integration on/off
At the top of the settings page, a switch reads Integration On or Integration Off. This is the master control for the whole Shopify integration. Turning it off deactivates the integration; turning it on reactivates it.
Fulfillment types
Above the settings, three status cards — Local Pickup, Local Delivery, and Shipping — each show an Enabled or Disabled badge. These are read-only indicators of how your store locations are set up. There's no toggle here; fulfillment is enabled per location elsewhere.
General Settings
| Setting | Options (default) | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Manual Dispatch | Off / On (Off) | When on, delivery orders are not auto-dispatched by Nash — you monitor orders in Shopify and dispatch when ready. |
| Fulfill Orders | Off / On (Off) | Marks Shopify orders as fulfilled at checkout, which also deducts Shopify inventory counts where applicable. |
| Use Shopify Tip | Off / On (Off) | Uses the tip amounts from Shopify orders when Nash dispatches those deliveries. |
| Max Delivery Days | Number of days (30) | The furthest ahead a customer can book a delivery. Capped at 30 days; a value is required. |
| Max Pickup Days | Number of days (No limit) | The furthest ahead a customer can book a pickup. Leave empty for no limit. |
| Shipping Packages | List of packages | Add, edit, and delete named packages with Length, Width, and Height in centimeters, used for shipping orders. |
| Order Tags to Sync | Tag list (empty) | Choose which order tags from Shopify are added to the matching Nash orders. |
Note
Max Delivery Days, Max Pickup Days, and Shipping Packages appear based on which fulfillment types your store has enabled. If a row isn't shown, that fulfillment type isn't on for your store.
Turn Manual Dispatch on when you want to dispatch Shopify delivery orders yourself instead of having Nash send them automatically. New Shopify delivery orders then wait for you rather than auto-dispatching, and you dispatch each one from the Orders area when it's ready — see find and work orders.
Gated settings
A few settings depend on your Shopify store setup and appear only when your store supports them. Availability varies — if you want one of these and don't see it, reach out to Nash.
| Setting | Options (default) | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Check Inventory | Off / On (Off) | Checks whether cart items can be fulfilled from your Nash-active Shopify locations, showing a delivery quote only when inventory is available and picking the closest location to dispatch from. |
| Product Eligibility | Choice of rule | Chooses how Shopify product tags decide which products are eligible for delivery through Nash: all products, only a subset you include, or all except ones you exclude. You then tag products in Shopify to match. |
| Distance Tiers | Off / On (Off) | When on, sets tiers of maximum distance to minimum lead time, so customers farther away only see delivery windows further in the future. |
Note
With the Carrier API, stores can customize how delivery options behave at Shopify checkout — for example, hiding non-local delivery once a shopper picks local delivery (see set up Nash delivery customization), or limiting which products are available on certain days. Carrier API comes from your Shopify plan and store setup — reach out to Nash if you're not sure what your store has.
Rates
The Rates tab manages the delivery and shipping rate cards shown to your customers at Shopify checkout. Rate cards depend on your Shopify store setup and are configured together with Nash. For how delivery rate cards work and what the tab shows, see manage Shopify delivery rates. If you want to set up or change your Shopify rates, reach out to Nash.
