Cancel a delivery

Last updated: October 29, 2026

You can cancel a delivery any time before it reaches drop-off.

Cancel it

  1. Open the delivery, or find its row in the Deliveries list.
  2. Choose Cancel Delivery — from the delivery's action menu, the button on the details page, or the row's ⋯ menu (shortcut C).
  3. The confirmation shows what you're cancelling: the pickup and dropoff, the provider carrying it with the driver, ETA, and current status, and — once a provider is assigned — the Cancellation fee (see below). Select Cancel to cancel it, or Keep delivery to close the dialog. If there's nothing left that can be cancelled, the dialog says so instead.

For a batch, the dialog lists the batch's deliveries. They're all selected to start; untick any you want to keep, or use Select all — the count shows how many of the total are selected. Deliveries that can no longer be cancelled still appear in the list, but can't be selected. Some providers only support cancelling the entire batch, and the dialog notes this when it applies. To close the dialog without cancelling, select Keep route.

Cancellation fees

Whether a cancellation costs anything is up to the provider, not Nash, and when a fee applies varies by provider — cancelling earlier is generally less likely to incur one. For a single delivery with a provider assigned, the confirmation checks with the provider and shows the result on the Cancellation fee line before you commit:

  • An amount, with a note that it's an estimate from the provider.
  • No fee, when the provider's estimate is zero.
  • Estimate unavailable, with a note that the provider may still charge a fee, when the provider doesn't return an estimate.

Cancel stays unavailable while the estimate is loading, so the fee is always on screen before you confirm.

Because fees are set by the provider, the exact amount and when one applies vary — the confirmation is the place to check before you go ahead. If a fee looks wrong, contact Nash support with the delivery details.

If you can't cancel

Once a delivery is picked up or complete, cancelling may not be available. If you need it stopped and can't do it yourself, contact the provider, or reach Nash support. To send the delivery again with changes instead, see duplicate a delivery.
