Cancel & recover deliveries
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Not every delivery goes to plan. Some you need to stop; some fail; some sit without a provider; and some just take an odd-looking route. This section covers what to do in each case — most of it from the delivery itself.
When you need to stop a delivery
- Cancel it — the delivery is no longer needed. See cancel a delivery.
When something goes wrong
- A delivery failed — it couldn't be completed. Get it moving again, or report it. See handle failed deliveries.
- A delivery is stuck in Created — Nash has the order but no provider has picked it up. See fix a delivery stuck in Created.
- The driver isn't following the route — usually normal, sometimes worth a look. See driver not following the route.
Open any delivery from the Deliveries list, or see read a delivery for the layout. What you can do depends on where the delivery is in its lifecycle — an active delivery has the most options, and they narrow once it's picked up or complete.
