Execute fields reference

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This is a field-by-field reference for Execute: the page header, the toolbar, every column in the routes queue, and the route panel's actions and tabs. It doesn't explain how to act on a route — for the model behind the page, see How Execute works, and for each change, the task articles linked at the bottom.

Select Execute in the sidebar to open it. The page header reads Operations; it's the same page.

Page header

Element What it shows
Operations The page title.
Status line With exception handling on: All clear, High-severity exceptions open, or Critical exceptions open, followed by a one-line summary of how many routes have open exceptions and how many need immediate action. The summary follows your filters. Without exception handling, the header is just the title.
Show KPIs / Hide KPIs Shows or hides the KPI cards. Appears when KPI cards are available to your organization.

KPI cards

The KPI cards appear only with exception handling on. They count over the whole queue your date range and filters match, not just the current page.

Card What it counts
With exceptions Routes with at least one open exception, "of N routes".
Critical · P0 Routes with critical exceptions — needs immediate action.
High · P1 Routes with high-severity exceptions — action recommended.
Medium · P2 Routes with medium-severity exceptions — monitor.
Low · P3 Routes with low-severity exceptions — informational.
On track Routes with no open exception, with the share of the total.

Below the header, a severity strip of pills filters the queue to one or more severities; Clear severity removes that filter. It appears only with exception handling on.

Toolbar

Control What it does
Table / Map / Timeline Switches the view. Table is always available; Map (up to 1,000 routes) and Timeline (up to 200 routes) can be turned off for an organization.
Date range Which days of routes to show. Defaults to today. A route is in range when any of its orders is — see How Execute works.
Filters Opens the filter panel. The badge counts the filters you've set.
Search Free-text search; the box reads "Search route, driver, region".
Saved views Switches between All routes and your saved views, and saves the current one. See Save and share Execute views.
Columns Shows, hides, and reorders columns (table view only).
Table settings Timezone and panel preferences — see below.
Export Downloads the routes matching your current date range, search, and filters.
Refresh Reloads the queue now. The queue also refreshes itself every 30 seconds.

Filter panel

The filter panel groups its filters:

Group Filters
Exceptions Severity, Trigger Type, Exception Status, Assignee. Only with exception handling on.
Route operations Route Status, Stop Status, Custom Events, Shift Name, Optimization Strategy.
Assignment Provider, Driver Groups, Courier.
Orders & locations Order Tags, Organization, Pickup Business, Dropoff Business, City, State, Country.
Package Package Value (min and max), Package Requirements, Package Tags.

Reset filters clears the panel's filters and keeps your date range. See Find routes in Execute for how to use them.

Table settings

Setting What it does
Timezone My timezone, UTC, or one of the Operational timezones your routes run in. Every time on the page — pickup times, ETAs — renders in the one you pick.
Show map in panel by default Opening a route reveals its map immediately.
Manage exceptions Opens your organization's exception types. Appears for people who can manage them.

Queue columns

The default order is below. Status and Pickup stay pinned; drag the rest into any order from Columns, which also shows how many are hidden.

Column What it tells you
Checkbox Selects routes to assign their exceptions in bulk with Assign to or Clear assignee. Only with exception handling on.
Status The route's status — route status for multi-stop routes, stop status for point-to-point routes. A canceled route can carry who canceled it, such as Cancelled · Customer. Hover over or focus the badge to see the route's time in status.
Name The route's name.
Pickup Where the route picks up.
Pickup time When the pickup is scheduled.
Stops Stop progress: how many are complete, en route, and pending.

Merchant The merchant whose orders are on the route. Shown for organizations that carry routes for other organizations.
Fees The route's quoted fees. Shown for organizations that carry routes for other organizations.
Provider Who's carrying the route. Internal marks your own fleet. Select it to see quotes and re-tender the route (Re-tender to provider); reads as plain text on completed and canceled routes, and No provider when none was assigned.
Driver The route's driver. Editable inline on own-fleet routes ("Search drivers or External ID…", Clear driver assignment). Read-only on provider-run routes, where it shows the provider's driver or Not shared by carrier. Shows Assign Provider when the route has no provider yet.
Vehicle The route's vehicle, with the same editing rules as Driver. Shown when your organization has vehicles.
Assignee Who owns the route's open exceptions. Only with exception handling on.
Exception The route's most important open exception, with its type and severity. A route with none shows Add exception. Only with exception handling on.
Created When the route was created.

Hovering over or focusing a cell such as Pickup, Pickup time, Stops, or Provider opens a card with its details. Selecting a row opens the route panel.

Some organizations also see Agents and Actions columns and agent-related filters; they relate to Nash Agent and aren't covered here.

Empty and error states

Message Meaning

Time in status

Hover over or focus a status badge in the queue to open its time-in-status card: each status the route has been through, the time spent in each, and the total.

For exception statuses and severities, see the Exception types and severity reference.

Availability

Execute is a beta feature, turned on per organization. Reach out to Nash if you'd like early access. The Map and Timeline views, route notes, and exception handling are each available per organization; if you don't see one, reach out to Nash.
