See workflows used on a delivery

Last updated: August 16, 2026

When a delivery was routed automatically, the delivery's details page shows you which automation or dispatch strategy handled it — no need to guess why a delivery went to the provider it did.

Created via Workflow

If a workflow created the delivery, you'll see a Created via Workflow chip in the summary strip at the top of the page. Click it to open that automation's details and see what it's set up to do.

Strategy

The Strategy row names the dispatch strategy that routed the delivery — the ruleset that decided which provider it went to. Click it to open the strategy itself. Where relevant, a nearby insights option gives more detail on the specific decisions dynamic dispatch made for this delivery.

Manual Reassignment

If someone manually reassigns the delivery, a Manual Reassignment indicator appears. It's a signal that a human stepped in and the dispatch strategy's automatic rules no longer apply going forward for this delivery.

What this doesn't cover

This is about which automation or strategy handled the delivery — not a full log of every workflow or notification that touched it along the way. For a step-by-step record of what happened to the delivery, see track delivery progress on the timeline. To learn more about the underlying concepts, see what workflows are and dispatch strategies.
