Driver Acceptance Feature
Last updated: March 3, 2026
Default Setting
Driver assignment can occur two ways:
Driver views new deliveries in the New tab and accepts the delivery
Dispatcher assigns the delivery to the driver, placing it in Active
What the feature does NOT do
Drivers can still see deliveries in the New tab and accept the delivery
Dispatchers can still assign the delivery to the driver
Feature Changes
When Dispatcher assigns the delivery to the driver, the driver is notified in the New tab they have been assigned a delivery, and must either ACCEPT or DECLINE the delivery
A loud tone is sounded on the drivers phone indicating a new offer
They have a certain amount of time to respond to the offer. This amount of time is configurable by the provider
If the driver does not respond within the allowed time, the offer expires and is returned to the unassigned state
The Unassign button on the delivery also is removed with this feature, as all deliveries now require driver acceptance.
Driver will be required to contact your dispatch team in order to be removed from the delivery
