View customers on the map

The Customers layer drops a pin for each customer in the part of the map you're looking at, so you can see where the people you deliver to actually are while you plan and run routes.

Customers is currently in beta and may not be turned on for your organization yet. Availability varies by org — reach out to Nash for access.

Where it appears

The Customers layer is a toggle in the map controls on three maps:

  • Orders map
  • Routes map
  • Execute map

It's off by default on all three. Turning it on doesn't move or refit the map — your route view and camera stay exactly where they were.

Turn it on or off

Flip the Customers switch in the map controls. When it's on, pins appear for the customers whose location falls inside the map's current visible area.

Because the layer follows what's on screen, panning or zooming refreshes the pins to match the new area (after a short pause so it isn't reloading on every small move). Customer pins cluster on their own, separately from your route stops, so the two don't get mixed together.

What a pin shows

Each pin sits at the customer's most recent known delivery address. This is a delivery address Nash has on record — not a verified home address — and it's independent of any order date filter on the page (the label reads "All dates").

Select a pin to see that customer's:

  • Name (shown as "Unnamed customer" if there's no name on record)
  • Address
  • A View customer link that opens their full profile — see read a customer profile.

Limits and states

  • 500-customer cap. The layer shows the first 500 customers in view. When there are more, you'll see "Showing the first 500 customers. Zoom in to see more" — zoom in to narrow the area and reveal the rest.
  • Empty area. If there are no known customer locations where you're looking, the layer says so rather than showing pins.
  • Still loading / couldn't load. While pins are loading you'll see a loading message; if a load fails, use Try again to retry.
