Nash Notification Triggers Glossary

The Nash notification system allows you to configure triggers to stay informed about critical delivery events. Triggers can be customized in Settings > Triggers to suit your business needs.

Delivery Status Transition

Set up notifications for various stages in the delivery lifecycle: there are many delivery stages available to establish triggers off of, some examples are included below.

  1. Delivery Created: Notifies when a new delivery is initiated in the Nash system.

    • Example: "A new delivery has been scheduled with Nash. Track here: {{job_tracking_link}}."

  2. Assigned Driver: Alerts when a driver is designated for a delivery.

  3. Pickup Enroute: Indicates when the driver is heading to the pickup location.

  4. Pickup Arrived: Confirms the driver has reached the pickup location.

  5. Pickup Complete: Verifies the pickup has been completed.

  6. Dropoff Enroute: Signals that the driver is heading to the dropoff location.

  7. Dropoff Arrived: Confirms driver arrival at the dropoff location.

  8. Dropoff Complete: Verifies delivery completion.

    • Example: "Your order from {{pickup_business_name}} has been delivered."

Operational Issue Triggers

  1. Failed to Auto Dispatch: Alerts when a delivery cannot be automatically assigned, enabling quick manual intervention.

  2. Address Validation Failed: Notifies of customer address validation issues.

  3. Delivery Creation Failed: Signals problems in creating new deliveries, such as scheduling or billing issues.

  4. Delivery Cancellation Failed: Alerts when delivery cancellation attempts are unsuccessful.

  5. Task Reassignment: Notifies when deliveries are reassigned to different providers.

    • Example: "Task reassigned on job {{job_id}}. Track here: {{job_tracking_link}}."

Time-Sensitive Triggers

  1. Pickup Delayed: Alerts when pickup time significantly exceeds the scheduled time.

  2. Dropoff Delayed: Notifies when dropoff time is later than expected.

  3. Stuck Status: Signals when a delivery remains in one status for too long.

Driver-Related Triggers

  1. Driver Geolocation: Provides real-time driver location updates.

  2. Driver Location vs. Delivery Status: Identifies mismatches between reported location and delivery status.

  3. Internal Driver Not Assigned: Alerts when deliveries remain unassigned beyond a set timeframe.

Quality Control Triggers

  1. Delivery Incident Report: Notifies when delivery incidents are logged.

  2. Status Changed Too Quickly: Flags unusually rapid status changes.

  3. Nash AI Invalid POD: Alerts when AI detects invalid proof of delivery photos.

Order Management Triggers

  1. Order Needs Attention: Signals when orders require manual review.

  2. Order Ready to Fulfill: Notifies when orders are prepared for delivery.

Documentation Triggers

  1. Proof of Delivery: Alerts when delivery proof is added or updated.

  2. Pincode Verification: Confirms when delivery pincodes are verified.

  3. Shipping Label: Notifies of shipping label updates.

  4. Manifested: Signals when manifest documents are created or modified.
