Delivery windows overview

Last updated: August 16, 2026

Delivery windows are the dated, timed slots a customer can pick at checkout — a Saturday 9:00–11:00 morning slot, an evening express slot, and so on. Each window belongs to a zone, carries a price and a capacity, and can require a minimum order value or specific driver skills. This page is where you build and review those windows across your zones.

This is a beta feature. Reach out to Nash if you'd like early access.

The zone-to-calendar model

The Delivery Windows page is organized by zone, not by a flat list of slots. The first tab lists your zones in an accordion with two columns — Zone and Store — and each zone row shows its external ID (linking to the zone in Zones) and its first associated store location (linking to that pickup location). Expand a zone row and you get a week calendar of every delivery window scheduled for that zone: each block is one dated slot with its time range.

So the shape is: a zone holds a calendar, and the calendar holds windows. To add or change a window, you expand its zone and work in that zone's calendar.

Zones and pickup locations are set up elsewhere:

The tabs

The page has up to five tabs, left to right:

  • Delivery Windows — the zone accordion and per-zone week calendar described above. This is where you create, edit, and delete individual windows, and where you kick off a CSV upload or an export.
  • Templates — reusable schedules that generate recurring windows across the zones you choose (for example, a weekday morning slot created every week for the next three months). See schedule delivery windows with templates.
  • Audit Log — a record of changes made to delivery windows over time.
  • Pricing Rules and Tag Rules — the dynamic engine that adjusts a window's price or attaches a tag based on a calculated metric. See delivery window pricing and tag rules.

Note

The Pricing Rules and Tag Rules tabs are a beta capability and appear only for some organizations. Reach out to Nash if you'd like early access.

Finding a window

On the Delivery Windows tab, the toolbar narrows the zone list and the calendar:

  • Store Location, Address State, and Service Type filters limit which zones show.
  • Sort orders the zone list (by name, ascending by default).
  • Status toggles whether inactive zones are shown (hidden by default).
  • Two search boxes sit side by side: Search zones… matches the zone list, and Search windows… matches individual windows. They search different things — check which box you're typing into.

Exporting windows

The Delivery Windows tab has an Export action that opens the Export Delivery Window Data drawer. Choose a Date Range (month-to-date by default), optionally narrow by State, Store Location, Service Type, and Zone, pick a Sort By and Sort Order, and leave Only Active Delivery Windows on to skip inactive slots. Select Download CSV to generate the file.
