Set up a Location Operations user
Last updated: September 3, 2026
A Location Operations user is a scoped role that sees only the store locations you assign them — and the orders and deliveries that run out of those locations. It's how you give a store, a region, or a team day-to-day control of their own locations without exposing the rest of your operation.
Note
Location-based access scoping is available depending on your Nash setup — availability varies by organization. Reach out to Nash if you'd like it enabled.
What the role can do
- Sees only its assigned store locations, and the orders and deliveries at them.
- Works those locations' day-to-day operations.
- Can't see or change locations, orders, or settings outside its scope.
The access scope for this role is store locations — not driver groups. Each user is limited to the locations you pick, and everything else stays hidden.
Set one up
You set the role and its scope where you manage your organization's users:
- Open your organization's Users settings and add or edit the user.
- Set their role to Location Operations.
- Select the store locations this user should have access to.
- Save. The next time they sign in, they see only those locations.
To change what a user can reach later, edit the user and adjust the assigned locations.
