Create a Delivery Zone

Use the Nash portal to establish Delivery Zones for managing and optimizing delivery operations within specific geographical areas. This guide walks you through the process of setting up a Delivery Zone.
Accessing Delivery Zones
To access the Delivery Zones management interface:
Log in to your Nash portal account.
In the left sidebar, select Settings.
Click on Zones from the Settings menu.
Creating a New Delivery Zone
To create a new Delivery Zone:
On the Delivery Zones page, click the + Add Zone button in the upper right corner.
Complete the form that appears with your zone details.
Required Fields
Fill in these mandatory fields:
Zone Name: Enter a unique, descriptive name (e.g., "Downtown Area" or "Northside Industrial Park").
Area Type: Select how you want to define your zone from the options below.
Defining Your Zone
Choose one of these options to specify your Delivery Zone:
Country: Select a specific country for international deliveries.
State: Choose a state or province within a country.
City: Specify a particular city for local delivery management.
Zip: Enter a postal code to target a specific section of a city.
City & Zip: Combine a city name and zip code (e.g., "Boston, 02115").
Polygon: Create a custom-shaped zone by defining points on a map.
Using the Polygon Option
If you select the Polygon option:
Click on the map to place boundary points.
Continue adding points to outline your desired area.
Click the first point you placed to complete the polygon.
Saving Your Delivery Zone
Before finalizing your zone:
Review all details to ensure accuracy.
Click Next at the bottom of the form & Submit on the following page.
Your new Delivery Zone will appear in the zones list, ready for use in managing deliveries and optimizing routes within your specified area.
