Log an activity on your route

Not everything on a route happens at a stop. When you take a lunch break, refuel, pre-cool the truck, or catch up on paperwork, use Log Activity to time it. Your operator then sees when the activity started, when it ended, and how long it took.

The activities you can log

Tap Log Activity and choose one of these:

  • Truck Pre-Cool
  • Refuel
  • Unload Empty Packages
  • Fill Timesheet
  • Lunch Break

Every activity works the same way. It starts a timer when you pick it, and it ends when you tap Stop.

Start an activity

  1. Open any stop on your route that isn't complete yet. The Log Activity button sits at the bottom of the map.
  2. Tap Log Activity.
  3. Choose the activity you're about to do.

The timer starts right away. The Log Activity button turns into a card with the activity's name, how long it has been running, and a Stop button.

Stop an activity

When you're done, tap Stop on the card. You'll see Activity logged, and the Log Activity button comes back so you can log the next one.

Good to know

  • One activity at a time. While a timer is running, the card replaces the Log Activity button. Stop the current activity before you start another.
  • The timer belongs to your route, not the stop. You can open other stops on the same route and the timer keeps running, showing on each stop that isn't complete yet.
  • It works offline. Starting and stopping both work without signal. The app records the time you tapped and sends it when you're back online. Until then, your sync list shows Activity started and Activity ended. The timer also survives closing and reopening the app.
  • Stop before you finish the route. Once your route is finished, you can't start a new activity. Any activity still running at that point is ended at the moment the route finishes, not when you meant to stop it, so tap Stop first if you want an accurate time.
  • This isn't the same as a mandatory break. Some routes include a required rest break as its own stop with a countdown. That's covered in Run a stop, pickup to drop-off. Log Activity is for time you track yourself, whenever you need it.
