Setting up Driver Pay

The Driver Pay feature enables you to calculate and track driver payments for each delivery, generate detailed reports for easier payment processing, download these reports for submission to payment platforms, and display the total compensation directly in the driver's app.
This feature is not turned on by default. To activate, please contact your Nash CSM.
Setting up Driver Pay
In the Nash Portal menu, go to Fleet > Driver Pay

+ New Payment RulebuttonPayment Rule Name: Give the rule a name
Driver Pay Rules can be assigned to multiple Driver Groups and are not limited to a single group. When naming a driver pay rule that you intend to reuse across multiple Driver Groups, consider choosing a name that reflects its broader applicability.
Driver Groups: Choose the Driver Groups to apply to. You can make changes to this later and add additional Driver Groups if needed.
Currency: Choose the currency you will pay the drivers in
Payment Rules: The calculation of how drivers will get paid. More on this in the section

Setting Up Payment Rules
There are two options when setting up Payment Rules: Contract and Function
Contract
This interface provides an intuitive way to calculate driver pay based on standard delivery details. Please note that Contract Payment Rules are not applicable for Batch jobs.
Function
A Python method designed to create driver pay with enhanced flexibility. Your Nash CSM will assist you in setting up your first function-based driver pay rule, which can then be reused and modified for other rules.
Driver Pay Reports
In the Nash Portal menu, go to Fleet > Driver Pay
Click on the Reports tab
Change the payment period date range, if applicable
Filter the report by driver group, if applicable
Click the Download icon
The Driver Pay Report for the date range and filter applied will be downloaded to your computer, ready to be processed and uploaded to your payment platform.
Revenue Tracking

In the Analytics tab of the dashboard, go to the Nash TMS section
Here you'll be able to review the gross revenue and driver expenses for each delivery, and review reports and charts on performance and revenue projections.
