Show tracking before dispatch
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Normally a customer's tracking page appears once a delivery is created. With tracking before dispatch on, the link works earlier — the customer can open it and see a holding page with a message from you while the delivery is still being arranged.
This lives in Engage ▸ Tracking Customization, on the editor sidebar's Page tab. For the page overview and the Save flow, see customize your tracking page.
Turn it on
On the Page tab, open the Before dispatch section:
- Tracking before dispatch — the switch that turns the feature on. Off by default. "Let customers open their tracking link before a delivery is created."
- Customer message — a text box that appears once the switch is on. "Optional. Shown publicly in your default tracking language." Type the message customers should see on the before-dispatch page. Leave it empty to use the default message.
Preview it
Above the preview frame, the Before dispatch button becomes selectable once the switch is on. Select it to see the holding page as the customer will, then switch back to Delivery to preview the normal tracking page. The preview uses your logo, brand color, business name, and language.
Save
Select Save and confirm the change list in the Save tracking page changes? dialog. Nothing goes live to customers until you confirm.
