Nash offers a flexible notification system to keep your customers informed throughout deliveries. Use default notifications or customize them to fit your brand and customer expectations.

Default Notifications

Nash sends three default SMS notifications during these status transitions:

Pickup Complete, Drop-off Enroute, Drop-off Complete.

Customizable Notification Options

Enhance communication with additional status updates:

  • Order Received

  • Driver Assigned

  • Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) Updates

Customized Message Content

Personalize messages using delivery-specific variables:

  • Customer First Name: {{customer.first_name}}

  • Your Business Name: {{pickup_business_name}}

  • Drop-off ETA: {{dropoff_eta}}

  • Tracking Link: {{job_tracking_link}}

Multiple Communication Channels

Nash supports:

  • SMS: Default option for messaging. SMS notifications are already fully set up and ready to use—no API key configuration or Twilio credentials required. Nash uses a shared Twilio messaging service provisioned at the platform level. Simply create notification triggers to start sending SMS during deliveries.

  • Email: For detailed updates or summaries

  • Webhook: Integrate with your systems for in-app notifications

Trigger-Based Notifications

Set notifications for specific conditions:

  • Delays

  • Special instructions reminders

  • Post-delivery feedback requests (see Provider Feedback for details)
