Product Availability for Specific Days
Last updated: June 26, 2025
Selling special items e.g BBQ Brisket only on weekends? 🍖 No problem! Nash makes it easy to limit Local Delivery or Pickup availability based on the day of the week.
🚨 Requirements
This feature only works when:
You’re using Shopify’s Carrier API (this allows us to block ineligible dates during checkout)
You’ve correctly tagged your products (see instructions below!)
🏷 Add the allow-days: Tag to Your Products
In your Shopify product settings, add a product tag in this format:
allow-days:saturday-sunday✅ Use hyphen-separated days
✅ Case doesn’t matter (e.g., Saturday, saturday, or SATURDAY all work)
✅ Days can be in any order
❌ We only support included days, not excluded ones.
Want to offer the item every day except Sunday? Use this instead:
allow-days:monday-tuesday-wednesday-thursday-friday-saturday📩 Final Step: Contact Nash Support
Once you’ve added the product tag(s), please reach out to Nash Support so we can enable the feature for your account and make the necessary backend updates to support this functionality.
🛒 What Happens at Checkout?
If a customer selects a day that’s not allowed for a tagged product, Local Pickup and Local Delivery options will automatically be hidden at checkout 🎯
💡 Pro Tips for a Smooth Customer Experience
To avoid confusion, we recommend:
Updating the product name, e.g.
BBQ Brisket – WEEKENDS ONLY
Adding a clear description, such as:
“This item can only be picked up or delivered on weekends. Please select Saturday or Sunday in the date picker to see Local Pickup or Delivery options.”
And that’s it! 🎉 With just one product tag and a quick note to our team, you’re all set to offer day-specific availability that keeps things smooth for you and your customers. Happy Delivering 🚚
