Create a Store Location Manually

This guide walks you through the process of creating a single store location through the user interface.

Creating locations manually is ideal for setting up individual stores. For bulk uploads, consider using the CSV upload method.

Navigate to Pickup Locations

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Pickup Locations

Access the New Location Form

  1. Browse existing store locations if needed

  2. Click the New Location button in the top right-hand side of the screen

Enter Basic Location Information

  1. Name the location

  2. Insert an ID for the location

  3. Set the location's address for the store or pickup location

Verify Geocode Information

The system will automatically geocode the latitude and longitude for the store based on the address you entered. You can:

  1. Use the automatically generated coordinates

  2. Override the coordinates if needed for greater accuracy (e.g., to identify a specific area like a loading dock)

Enter Pickup Details

Add contact information for the location:

  1. Store manager or pickup contact name

  2. Phone number for contacting the store

  3. Email address

Add Pickup Instructions

Enter any pickup instructions that should be passed through to:

  1. Drivers using the internal application

  2. Third-party delivery providers

Set Custom Service Time

Configure the custom service time for this location, which represents:

  • How long it takes for a driver or courier to get from their vehicle to the pickup location

  • The time needed to return to their vehicle to begin the delivery

Assign a Zone

  1. Select a zone for this particular pickup location

  2. This zone will determine eligibility for:

    • Different product types

    • Delivery windows

    • Other functionality within Nash

Submit the Location

Once you're satisfied with the configuration for the location, click Submit to finalize the store location creation.
