Dispatch orders
Last updated: August 16, 2026
Ready to Dispatch is the tab on the Orders page that holds orders which have passed validation and are ready to go out. An order reaches this tab once it clears Needs Attention — so everything here is good to send.
Ways to send an order out
There's more than one way to dispatch from this tab, depending on how many orders you're sending and how much planning they need:
- Send one order. Dispatch a single order to a provider or straight to a job — see dispatch an order.
- Send several at once. Select multiple orders and dispatch them together — see bulk dispatch orders.
- Plan a batch before sending. Optimize a group of orders to work out the best plan first — see optimize orders.
- Build a route. Group orders into a single route — see create a route from orders.
Orders on a route show up in two places
Once you add an order to a route, it appears in both Ready to Dispatch and Routes, and its usual dispatch buttons are hidden on this tab. That's expected: an order that's part of a route is dispatched from the route, not from Ready to Dispatch. If an order here has no dispatch action, check whether it's already on a route.
After an order is dispatched
Dispatching is where this tab's job ends. Once an order is out, you follow it as a delivery — see find and monitor deliveries to track its progress.
