Create a route from orders

Last updated: August 16, 2026

You can group orders into a single route straight from Ready to Dispatch. This is a quick way to bundle orders together without running the full optimizer — if you want Nash to plan the best sequence and providers first, see optimize orders instead.

Create the route

On Ready to Dispatch, select more than one order, then choose Create Route. Nash asks you to confirm ("You're about to Create Route…") — choose Continue. When it's done, you'll see a confirmation that the route was created, with a View details link to open it.

Where the orders go afterward

The new route appears in the Routes area, where you dispatch and manage it. Creating the route doesn't send the orders out on its own — you dispatch the route from Routes.

The orders you added stay on Ready to Dispatch too, so the same order shows up in both places. That's expected: once an order is on a route, its usual dispatch buttons on Ready to Dispatch are hidden, and its row instead offers to remove it from the route. To keep Ready to Dispatch focused on unrouted work, filter the list to Without Route.

Availability

Create Route depends on whether your organization has routes enabled. If you don't see it, availability varies by org; reach out to Nash.
