A driver isn't getting chat notifications

If a driver isn't being notified of new chat messages, work through these checks on their phone.

Check the basics

  1. Confirm the phone isn't on Do Not Disturb.
  2. Confirm the notification volume is turned up.
  3. Confirm the app's notification permissions are granted.
  4. Send a test chat message to the driver and see what happens.

Narrow it down

  • A banner shows but there's no sound — check the phone's sound settings.
  • No sound and no banner — contact Nash support with the driver's account phone number and name.
