Edit a delivery

You can fix a few details on a delivery in place, without creating a new one. Editing covers the small stuff — everything else is a bigger change handled a different way.

Edit the details

1. Open the delivery on its details page.
2. Select the pencil icon in the action bar at the top. It appears while the delivery is still active; if it's missing, the delivery is too far along to edit.
3. In Edit Delivery Details, update any of: - Package description - Package value - Driver tip - Item count

For deliveries on Uber or DoorDash, you can also edit the pickup and drop-off instructions. 4. Select Save. You'll see a confirmation that the delivery was updated.

What editing won't change

The edit form is deliberately limited. It won't change the pickup or drop-off time, the address, or the recipient's name or phone. For those:

• To move the time, use update a delivery time.
• For a new address, recipient, or anything else, duplicate the delivery and cancel the original — see duplicate a delivery.

Editing is available while the delivery is active — generally up until drop-off. Once a delivery is complete or canceled, it's no longer editable.
