Duplicate a delivery

Last updated: August 16, 2026

When a change is too big for editing in place — a new address, a different recipient — duplicate the delivery instead. Duplicating starts a new delivery pre-filled from the original, so you keep everything that's still correct and just change what's different.

Duplicate a delivery

  1. Find the delivery — in the Deliveries list or open it.
  2. Choose Duplicate: - from the delivery's action menu, or - the Duplicate icon in the action bar on the details page, or - the menu on the delivery's row (or press D with the row selected).
  3. A new delivery form opens, pre-filled from the original. Adjust whatever's changing.
  4. Submit to create the new delivery. If the original used a dispatch strategy, you'll choose whether to Submit Only or Submit & Dispatch.
  5. Cancel the original delivery so you don't run both.

What carries over

The copy brings across the pickup and drop-off addresses, contacts, and the full package and item details. A couple of things are deliberately reset:

  • The reference (external) ID gets a _copy suffix so it stays distinct from the original.
  • Scheduled deliveries keep their original time window — change it if the new delivery needs a different time. For "now" deliveries, the time starts fresh.

Nothing is created until you submit, so you can review the whole copy first. Duplicating is available for single deliveries (not batches), and availability can vary by org — reach out to Nash if you'd like access.
